Passed away peacefully, aged 85 years, in Broadoak Manor Care Home on Sunday 30th March. Beloved husband of 61 years to Joan, devoted father to David & Neil, much loved father-in-Law to Debbie & Lisa, a deeply cherished Grandad & Great Grandad to Steph, Josh, Sam, Ben, Amy, Ethan & Tilly. Sadly missed by sister Maureen and all his family and friends. Funeral Service will take place at St. Anne’s Church, on Thursday 1st May at 10.30 followed by committal at St Helens Crematorium. After the Church service or committal, attendees are asked to go to Clock Face Miners Recreation Club where the family will join you to share further memories of Alan from 12.00pm.
